How to have joy, gladness, thanksgiving and voice of melody in your relationship, marriage and life. Pastor Dunamis Tunde Okunowo(KHC) 1 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. 3 For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody (Isaiah 51:1-3 KJV) This verses are talking about the believers, you and I. Verse 1 says Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord… Are you part of those who follow after righteousness? Are you a believer? Are you part of those who seek the Lord? Do you attend services regularly? Do you love God? Do you pray to Him? Have you made up your mind to live right and stay away from sin? Then you are the one being addressed here. It continues …look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. You see, you have to learn to look at the right place. Where you are looking at matters a lot! Rather than look at your situation or what you are going through, the scriptures says look back at your source, your foundation, your beginning, take a look at the rock, Jesus Christ. Connect back with your creator! The stream that becomes proud and disconnect itself from the river will soon dry up. In other to stay blessed and relevant, you have to be careful at what you are looking at, what you are leaning on, and who you are deriving confidence from! Verse 2 says Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. Look at Abraham and Sarah. Take a look at them because they were human beings like you. What do I want you to see on them? I called him, and I blessed him, and increased him! Woah! I feel like praying in other tongues! If I have done it for Abraham, I will do it for you! I see God blessing you! I see God increasing you! It will be a new day for you! It is not time to give up. Just take a look at Abraham and see how I took him from nothingness to prominence! Take a look at him and see how I made him prosperous, till he was able to have 300 servants that he was feeding; and some of those 300 servants have their own families! See how I called him! See how I made him! Faithful is He that has called who also will do it. My father will never let you down. He will never disappoint you! Just make sure you are looking at the right person! Verse 3 says For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places… You will see the comfort of God. All waste places shall be comforted. In every area where there have been monumental mistakes, God will bring unbelievable succor! Every mistakes of the past, every consequence of past actions in the days of ignorance, God will comfort you and restore you back. For every wound and every hurt that you think might not be healed again, there is a Balm of Gilead! The eagle in you will fly again, because you will see the comfort of God. Jehovah will restore the wasted years and bring beauty out of the ashes for you in Jesus name! It continues… …and her desert like the garden of the Lord. You thought it was too dry to bring forth anything, but God will turn it to His garden. It will yet bring forth. The barren woman will be called mothers of many children. The desert will become a garden. The dry bank account will yet be filled by His favour and His blessings upon the works of your hands. He will bless you and He will increase you! Finally, it concludes …joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody This is your portion! Joy! Gladness! Thanksgiving! Voice of melody! God will change your story. He will fill your mouth with joy! He will visit you like never before. He will change levels for you. When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, I was like them that dream… Get ready for God in your life, business, career, relationship, marriage, home and family as He turns every captivity around and fills your mouth with laughter!
