How to know your life purpose in 5 minutes - Adam Leipzig At my Yale College Reunion I made an astounding discovery. 80% were unhappy with their lives - I feel like I have wasted my life and Im half way through it they said, I dont know what my life is all about. These people were privileged and wealthy and 80% were unhappy with their lives. The 20% that were happy had studied classes for the joy of learning not because they were going to direct us to a specific job, we still got jobs, we were living our lives with lifes ups and downs and we did not feel like we had wasted a single minute. As I spoke with the happier 20% I discovered each of them knew something about their life purpose because they knew 5 things. Would you like to know your lifes purpose in 5 minutes. Amazon has 150,000 books how you can learn your life purpose. Some people have spent their entire lives learning their life purpose. I can teach you this in less than 5 minutes with these 5 questions. 1. Who you are? 2. What you do? 3. Who you do it for? 4. What do those people want or need? 5. How they change as a result? 1. Shout out your name, thats who you are. 2. What do you love to do; read, write, paint, cook, talk, teach what do you love to do, focus on what is the one thing right now you feel supremely qualified to teach other people. 3. Picture who you do it for. 4. What do they want or need so they come to you? 5. How do they change or transform as a result of what you give them? You have just discovered something that people that went to Yale couldnt figure out for 25 years. From all those 5 things that you need to know to discover what your life purpose is, only 2 are about yourself the 3 others are about other people. That formula forces you to be outward facing. All the happier people were outward facing, they were not inward facing, they knew very clearly who they served, what those people needed and how those people changed as a result. The most successful people in any field always focus most on the people that they serve than how they are served themselves. Happier people make it a point to make other people happy and take care of them, life teaches us if we take care of others, we will be taken care of too. youtube/watch?v=vVsXO9brK7M&sns=em
