How to lose a sale with me as the customer: I walk into Radio Shack and ask the guy about the current sale they advertise about getting $$$ from your phone towards the purchase of a new phone. The salesperson ACTUALLY SAID THE FOLLOWING TO ME: No that is not a real sale. It is meant to only strike uo conversation. (I pointed out to him that the advertisments on all ALL Boost/Verizon/ etc. No contact phones) he shrugs and repeats what he said. I replied: NO what that is is FALSE ADVERTISING as well as a potential lawsuit AGAINST Radio Shack Corporation! (He takes my phone and goes to see if my ZTE WARP qualifies for sale). He tells me: ZTE is a Chinese phone and they never qualify for sales. (I get annoyed and ask about the Samsung Galaxy 3. HE DOESNT KNOW MUCH ABOUT PHONES OVERALL). I WAS going to get the $249. anyhow and THEN ASKED ABOUT MILITARY DISCOUNT (which Radio Shack DOES have!) He looks at me and states: Yeah we do but not on phones or ELECTRONICS because they dont qualify. (I gave up and walked out). SMH. Nothing pisses me off more than a salesperson who does not know their product or job description!
