How to make fitness a life long, positive part of yours and your childs life The statistics of Childhood Obesity, and overweight are STAGGERING and we all know the importance of daily exercise and an active lifestyle, but how much exercise should a child get and what kind? To answer this question, the first comprehensive exercise guidelines for kids were published by the National Association for Sport & Physical Education. The total time of activity should be at least 60 minutes per day, but ideally children should exercise up to several hours.
