How to make light trails pictures with a smartphone... Theres an app for that, in fact there are a few apps with the same name, SlowShutter - Youll have top pick one and try it, I have two different ones and they both work differently - The building shot I made from a rooftop in Toronto a few weeks back with the light trails, made with a smartphone and a tiny tripod was made with this app. Not the same app I mentioned in the video tutorial. SlowShutter is made for light trails, it also works great in the subway for warp speed images! Just look down in my feed. They way I set it for this shot was to have a second delay before it starts, for a 30 second exposure - you can stop it at any point but pressing the shutter release button in order to save the image once you have what you want. It is easy - for a tripod, simply google Smartphone tripod as there is a slew of products out there.
