Robert Alai Onyango I received this mail------>>> TROUBLE AT INOORERO UNIVERSITY Am writing these, as one of the people affected since I am one of the members of this community by extension. The university did lay off n the course of last year the entire finance department without notice. It has put all the library and information systems department on pat-time basis with either delayed or no salaries at all. The institution is firing employees without prior notice and also without their entitled benefits. The institution stopped remitting retirement benefits to its staff. the institution is subjecting casual workers to more than a year of service without confirmation. The institution has not cleared its sacked employees and not remitted their terminal benefits. Suppliers and part time lecturers have not received their pay some to up to three years. Students are receiving very poor service from the non motivated team of staff. I am raising this concern since most people both students and staff are affected directly. these may be spilling over to a large number of Kenyans since as citizens, we are interdependent in one way or the other.
