How was everyones Halloween? We had a blast! Ms S and I made a tutu so she and her friend could be Mario and Luigi. We kept it simple. What we used: 4 yards of blue tulle 2 inch wide elastic that measures same as your waist 2 inch blue ribbon (for the suspenders) A good pair of scissors Fabric glue Clothes pins 1. We cut the 4 yards of tulle into 4 inch strips. Then we cut each of those in half lengthwise so that it makes 2 strips that are 4 inches wide. 2. We measured the elastic around Ms S s waist. I left some length and simply tied a knot. For a more formal piece you could sew it and wrap the elastic. 3. We just tied each strip onto the elastic. 4. I cut the ribbon to the desired length for the suspenders 5. I used the fabric glue to glue the ribbons in place and used clothes pins to hold them in place while the glue dried. 6. Add Luigi hat and green shirt and she was ready to go!
