How was your day? We have all been asked and have asked it in - TopicsExpress

How was your day? We have all been asked and have asked it in return. In a childs mind, there is so much that happens during his/her day that answering it becomes a non-descript generalized, Fine. Here is a good article to highlight questions to ask to help develop a better dialogue about their day. J and I review our day just before bedtime. We have been doing it since before he could talk. Its a lot more fun now because it is interactive and he reverses the questions on me. I ask him to tell me something he ate, somewhere he went, something he bought, something he played or built or made, something he was really good at, something he would like to do again or his favorite part of the day. We also talk about something he didnt like and how we can change that. We also predict what he thinks will happen the following day. I am always looking for new questions, share your favorite conversation starters right here! handsonaswegrow/talk-about-school-questions-to-ask/#_a5y_p=599972
