How we change Africa: In 1991, 71 girls were raped and killed in one night during the St Kizito tragedy that happened in my village. The New York times wrote this story (find it online even today) where they said it was the worst case of violence against women in one night! I was a little girl when I lost some of my friends sisters and family. It will be impossible that I will live my life and fail to change that story. The girls in that school were moved to a new school few yards away called St. Angelas. How about these girls who graduate high school making straight As in mathematics and science join me in deploying an innovation set to change Kenya? Then Nicholas Kristof would write the story of St Kizito again!! This time tell the story of the girls in that village and how they changed the terrible story that has lived in newspapers all over Africa and the New York times? How about a journey that would utilize the latest technology to engineer and design the human and computer interaction aspect to keep women and girls safe forever? Technology for #SAFETY by a community that never knew safety for women and girls? And Mark Zuckerberg bring the first drones that you are deploying to the Last mile countries to our community and give them the internet free of charge!Lets go!
