How well do you know your Lord? Do you know His different Names and what they mean? Do you call upon Him by them? From Salam al-Khawaass who said: Malik bin Dinar said: “The people of the world depart from the world without them having tasted the most beautiful thing from it.” It was said, “And what is it?” He replied, “The ma’rifah of Allaah [knowledge of His names, attributes, actions and their interplay and connection to the creation].” Source: Al-Siyar of al-Dhahabi (5/363). This is very true you know. There is an indescribable sense of exhilaration in knowing your Lord, Allaah azza wa jal. Calling upon Him using His different Names as it relates to different situations in your life, gives you an amazing sense of closeness to Him and contentment. The more you know Him, the more you will love Him and the more accepting you will be of what He has chosen for you. And you will discover that lifes problems, theyre not such a big deal after all. Please suggest ways in it will be easier for us to teach our kids learn ..INshallah
