Howard County home sales statistics now available for August! August of 2013 posted an increase in single-family home listings over the same month last year for Howard County. In particular, the $700,000-799,999 range was nearly 58% higher than 2012, and home listings from $900,000-999,999 were up a whopping 600%, with 14 listings to last year’s 2. Additionally, $1,000,000-$1,249,999 settlements went from 1 in 2012 to 3 this year, a 200% rise. Condos and co-ops reflected increases in all categories for August 2013 as compared with August of 2012. Contracts in the range $400,000-$499,999 were 800% higher with 9 to last year’s 1, and settlements in the same range rose 200%, showing 6 this August over August 2012’s 2.
