Howd you like to meet some of your fellow nomads and lifestyle designers? How about in Iceland? Hows April 2015? Lets talk global meetup. I stumbled on some incredible flight deals to Iceland, with pennies on the dollar for connections to Europe or US, and noticed theres not much going on during April for us remote operators. Im thinking of throwing a big get-together/mini-conference/mastermind to bring this and a few other young nomad communities together on neutral ground to get to know each other, learn together, and share some of our work/life tricks. Work, play, speakers/workshops, pitches - plus a few special things up our sleeves. Tickets to Iceland from DC or Boston are ~$300 round trip, so add +$150 if youre traveling from West Coast to take advantage of the deal via WowAir. The event itself would incur costs of our 15-20 AirBnB setup + communal food & drinks + event overhead. Visas are a non-issue for almost every national. I need to validate this before I turn a work vacation into an international event. Are you interested? Could you afford your ticket + $350 for a week-long stay in Iceland? Are there specific topics of business issues youd like to see a focus on? Would there be specific people youd love to have share their experiences?
