Howdy Boaters! Jonathan Walpoles Arctic Expedition Clinic, January 15th, 7 pm at NA Paddle Sports Center Next Adventure is honored to have Jon Walpole come and talk about his recent expedition to the Hanbury and Felon River in the Arctic. Jon will share a slideshow of his photos and walk us through his amazing adventure to the arctic. Jon will also give advice on how to make your own arctic paddling adventure become a reality! Hell even have his folding canoe and relevant equipment for a nice show and tell. This clinic is also sponsored by Hopworks brewery so there will be some free high quality river sodas. For Saturdays Class IV Get Out and Paddle, we are planning on Canyon Creek in Washington, but we are watching the flows like hawks. We want it to be a fun and solid time, but please know as this river is class IV-IV+ at low to medium flows, broaching V at high flows, this ideally should not be your first time down the run. If we deem it too high for the GOAP, we will head to the NF Washougal, Lowerr Bridge to Fish Hatchery. We will be meeting at the shop at 8 am.
