Howdy Friends! Ya know, some things are just too strange not to share! For sure my angels must be working overtime! Discern this for me if you could please? Last night around 10:30 -11pm Bob and I were sitting on the sofa in our little Residence Inn apartment watching TV before bed. Bob had already fallen asleep and I decided to boil some water. So I put about 2 cups of water in a small saucepan on the stove and turned the burner on high. I went back and sat down on the couch, and immediately fell off to sleep. Sometime later Bob awoke as is typical for us, and semi-woke me and walked us both into the bedroom. At 6 am this morning the alarm went off, as we were getting up early to catch a flight to San Jose for the funeral service for my mom-in-love, Bob’s mom. When Bob went into the kitchen to start the coffee maker he found the stove burner still on high, bright red, and very hot! The dry empty saucepan was still sitting on the stove, right where I had left it! The odd thing is that it was not all burnt up and charred black as you’d expect, but only had a little white ring at the bottom of the pan, like maybe like a little bit of calcium deposits from the water. We had a very busy day today with two flights and visiting with family for the funeral and all. Neither of us has really talked about the empty hot pot of this morning…. But the thoughts keeps stirring in my mind now, how could two cups of water in the smallest saucepan, left on high all night long (for at least 6 - 7 ½ hours) and absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happen??? The whole hotel could have caught on fire, or at the least we could have been awaken by the sprinklers in the ceiling drenching us both! It MUST have been a miracle!!! Nothing else makes sense! All I can say is THANK YOU Jesus for saving us again!!! ~God must have some really important plans for our future! :O)
