Howdy! Im Ron and this is my first post of this new Facebook Fan Page. I guess the first thing to do is explain the meaning and why I decided to create this page. Ive been around for some time now, enough so that I know what matters in my life, and what could matter in other mens lives. At my age I can remember back when I worked hard to make a living to provide for my family. I did my best to make a difference in the lives of my family. Providing for their needs as well as their wants was a pleasure. But it was the small things, the incidental things that seemed to make an impact on me. Taking the kids to 4-H meetings to compete with other family pets. Making popcorn and watching a Disney movie with their friends. There is a lot that makes up our entire life cycle before we move on. So, I got to think about other men with similar family episodes. We do so much for our families that sometimes we forget to enjoy the very experiences we encounter with them. We sometimes forget that we are passionate men about even small things like throwing a steak on the BBQ. We need to make that steak just perfect so others can Ooo! and Awe! when they take the first bite. That affirmation not only says we did good, but puts us up there with some of the most famous chefs in our familys eyes. That says it was worth the attention we gave the steak as we applied the special rub that was handed down from our dad. What about your passions? Love to tinker with classic car parts? How about researching the process of making beer and ending up with a brew that equaled a micro brew winner, or not? Does it really matter? You were fervent and steadfast in research and processing the brew. Maybe it wasnt that good but you gave it a shot. Good for you! I am building a website for Fervent Men, and this Facebook Fan Page will be tied to it. I will be posting different subject matters and would like to hear your feedback and experiences. Let me know about your passions. Hunting, car racing, playing instruments, flying or just traveling to other countries. I have been to the Arctic and Antarctic. I witnessed icebergs calf and almost sunk on board ship with a crack in the hull. Being passionate, having an intensity of spirit is what a full life is all about.
