Howdy folks!!! Heres the hatchling update for June 30th. Nest number 1 has 112 eggs. Typically when they are over 110 eggs, they are split into 2 nests for corral incubation. Nest 1A is pipped which means the hatchlings are just starting to peak their adorable little heads out of the eggs. From that point it takes about 1-2 days for them to go into a frenzy, meaning they would be ready for release. There will be NO release on Tuesday July 1st. There is a chance for Wednesday or Thursday. We will write another update tomorrow night. Sleep well & for those of you who are visiting the island for the holiday weekend, dont forget to stop in to the facility and say hi!
