If we spent as much on fighting disease as we do on bottled water to pick just one example, wed have beaten most of these long ago. I wonder if the lack of support toward heart disease is due to the fact the people view it as the patients own fault? Or perhaps it just isnt as trendy as other diseases. Either way, there is a misconception by so many that heart disease is something they dont have to worry about - this is due to the lack of awareness of the different types of heart disease and the multitude of contributing factors to each.
