Hróður frá Refsstöðum daughter for sale! Maísól is born 2009, red dun, and a very talented 5-gaited mare with the pace yet untrained. Although just at the beginning of her training, Maísól already blows your mind with extremely good tölt with long strides, very good leg action and wide speed range always on clear beat. She already has taken part in some smaller 4-gait and tölt competitions and received very good results for such a young horse. Maísól also has very good walk, an elastic trot and a nicely upwards canter, not flat at all, and with further training will develop an equally great pace. Maísól is the perfect horse for experienced riders who want to develop and form their own future top class competition horse for 4- or 5-gait competitions. Although she is 5-gaited she has tölt, trot, and canter like a 4-gaiter, very well separated, powerful, clean beaten and much movements. Maísol’s pedigree leaves no wishes unfulfilled: Her father is, as said, Hróður frá Refsstöðum, 1st prize stallion with 8.69 for ridden abilities (9.5 for tölt, 9 for slow tölt, and spirit) and Honory Prize winner for offsprings. Hróður cuurently has 83 1st prize offsprings, the most famous of them are probably Ferna frá Hólum, Kvistur frá Skagaströnd, and Höttur frá Hofi I. Maísól’s mother is Júnídís frá Skarði, a 1st prize mare with 8.18 for ridden abilities with 8.5 for tölt, slow tölt, spirit, and general impression, and 8.13 for conformation. Júnídís’ father is the legendary Andvari frá Ey I.
