［Hsinchu City］Black Bat Squadron Memorial Hall From the period of participation in special missions onward (1952-1972), the Black Bat Squadron (including the former Special Operations period) lost 15 aircraft and sacrificed 148 members, and it is the special troop of the R.O.C. Air Force that made the greatest sacrifices. The exterior of the Hall is styled after the dormitory of the Military Assistance Advisory Group at that time. The outdoor square contains a memorial wall made of tempered glass, introducing heroic deeds of the Black Bat Squadron in Chinese and English. Besides exhibiting the complete historical documents of the Black Bat Squadron, the Hall also provides a multipurpose space for locals in the community. The Hall carries special memorial significance because it introduces not only the historical significance of the Black Bat Squadron, but also promotes human development in the community.
