Huang Di humbly replied, “Everything you have explained to me has been logical and of the deepest meaning. Although I cannot directly see the areas you have discussed, and I do not totally hear the numbers of which you speak, I am already much enlightened.” Qi Bo said, “This is what is meant by the saying, The sage easily comprehends, the good horse responds well to subtle commands.” Huang Di answered, I am not the sage who comprehends easily. What I am trying to accomplish in asking these questions is to have you remove my cloudiness and inspire my development. Even this does not address the essence of the most important principles. But I hope you can, in detailed a fashion as possible, explain te locations of the acupuncture points. This way, I will obtain an overview and also record and preserve the information in the “Golden Chamber”.
