Hubby has continued to loose weight since his hospital stay and now has lost 116 pounds. So today while the visiting nurse was here and weighing him I was kidding him about loosing so much weight he could fit in his wedding gown again. The nurse stopped dead still and looked at us like we were from another planet...LOL, so I told her the story of Hubby being the bride in a woman-less wedding when our girls were in grammar school. We had done the woman-less wedding for our church at a banquet and it went over so well the school asked the men to do it again to raise money for the school. Hubby was a beautiful bride in a Dolly Parton wig, large balloon to give him a Dolly figure and a wedding dress that one of the ladies at the church made for him that took 22 yards of material. The reason Hubby was chosen for the bride was because he was the largest man at church and the groom was the smallest man that attended our church and it was hilarious. When the ceremony was over Hubby walked off the stage just in time to catch his groom who jumped off the stage into his arms and they ran from the building. We have had many laughs over the years about Hubbys performance and today was no exception, I only wished I could have captured the look on the nurses face before we let her in on the joke~ :)
