Huge Congratulations to four of our members who all competed at a National Competition this past week. All four fantastic riders started in E grade at Pony Club and all four, though they may not been seen at Rally Days as much, are all still active in Pony Club: Julia Devitt attended the National Mounted Games Championships in WA, Julias NSW Team finished 2nd overall, a fantastic Result as all the NSWs riders were on borrowed horses Keeley & Georgia Gamble attended the Australian Stock Horse Championships in Tamworth, NSW. Keeley winning the Under 21yrs 90cm Show Jumping and Flagging Competitions, also finishing Top 4 in all her Sporting Events and 6th in Campdrafting. Georgia on a borrowed horse finished 5th in the Under 18yrs Station Horse Class Lauren ONeill attended the National Interschool Championships, Werribee, Victoria. Lauren finished 7th overall in both the 1mtr & 1.10mtr Show Jumping Classes, the No.1 NSW Rider for both heights, and the award for Best Performed Retired Racehorse in the Show Jumping Section. Fantastic effort from all four girls, goes to show Pony Club is a great start for riding, the skys the limit for these girls, Woonona Pony is so very proud :)
