Huge Well Done to 1st - Steven Ellement Motorsport, 2nd Matt Brown & 3rd Tom Hooper. Had so much fun last night, some really fun, hard racing. Heat 1 we were on the rev limiter, which meant running the bottom. I thought the track was a bit better a little higher but just could keep it going quick enough on the limiter, we still managed a 3rd from 6th. Heat 2 we came from 17th to 9th. The car was a lot better than 9th in that race. Just a couple occasions where I had to lift/ concede and this probably cost a few more places. For me the race of the night but, so much fun. The Hornet put a big slide job on me, only to get held up himself a couple turns later and I was able to put one back on him. I was grinning from ear to ear. Soooo much fun. We started the final out of 6th but we must have been tied or close on points for 3rd/ 4th/ 5th. Anyway I loved the car that much in heat 2 that I decided to leave the car for the feature - Bad call :-) The track really slickened off and although I had an absolute ball driving it hard and trying multiple lines, it just wasnt quick enough. I could just hang on - JUST to Chanelle but certainly wasnt going anywhere forward. The best part is the car is straight, we have found and fixed our Fuel problem. Which means now we can do laps and improve/ learn. Thanks to the Perth Motorplex Crew/ Staff for a great night. All of our Family, Friends & Fans for coming by a saying hello and wishing us luck. Massive Thanks to my legendary Plus Team Jason Youd James Inglis Colin Youd Dan Horton & Lachy & of course my little man Sunny Haywood. Of course my amazing Sponsors Plus Fitness, Masters Milk & Port Kennedy Tyres & More. Also thanks to Aaron Higgins for all his work/ effort on my car and #whosyourdaddy David Sinagra and Dutchman Performance Tony van Ginneken for getting me going with the motor and A LOT of phone calls this past couple weeks with these fuels problems. A massive shout out the Mark House for his help and letting me use his spare Headers. See you all back at the Motorplex on the the 6th for Round 3 of the Motorplex Track Championship and the WA Sprintcar State Title. Diamond Bay Motorsport /Ryan Farrell for the WIN.
