Huge day today for our beloved Son David - he hits the big 30 on this very 9th June. David and his sister Alia were brought up on safari and the Marsh Pride are like a second family to them; Half-Tail and Zawadi were huge for them too - along with Queen (Amber of early Big Cat Diary fame) the original car-climbing cheetah. We want to honor David today for a life that has been full to the brim with good things - Head Boy at Banda School here in Nairobi - fastest boy in the school and on the rugby, cricket and hockey teams (there must have been other ones too!). He then stuffed up his cruciate ligament so badly that it evaporated and needed surgery before he was out of his teens. He designed our website and is a wonderful artist and photographer too. But more than that he is just such a lovely person who we are tremendously proud of - for that more than anything: Kind, compassionate, generous and true to his word. Only Proud Parents get to say these kinds of things - and make their offspring squirm in the process! He is now the Lion King of the family with a new tattoo to show for it. Scarface watch out!
