Hulle kry alles vernuut en ons moet betaal This has been one the famous sayings that has be doing rounds on Facebook,but I hold a different view from that of the yellow bones. These service delivery protests taught us that a people oppressed and suppressed will one day explode and deal with whatever/whoever is standing on their way of getting what they want. As in the past week Mossel Bay saw a youth with a stubborn determination to undermine any instituition that has been denying them and their families basic services and infrastructural development. This is a unemployed youth that has lost its confidence on the laws that govern municipalities and the government. This youth seeing the daily sufferings of their parents decided to take matters on their hands and bring justice to their families. These people knew very well that they facing possible arrests and even death but that didnt stop them to go to the street to do what they did. These people sacrificed/risked with their lives but they never anything to dissuade them from their journey they fought(we dont encourage some of their fighting methods) until the end. So when they are getting what they wanted ,let no man say they getting things for free,thats not true those people fought for what they are getting it was not given to them on a silver platter. And that is the difference between them and others who dont fight. Those who dont fight are tolerant,but what I know is that whoever is too tolerant will change nothing and will get nothing favorable. Before we say Hulle.........en ons....... just ask yourself do I have the power to fight like they did ,if not keep quiet and enjoy the situation you find yourself in.. Lets kill Hulle en Ons we are one,lets peacefully fight injustice together as one. Nothing is for mahala.
