Human Rights and Human Responsibilities Kyaw Thura Man is said - TopicsExpress

Human Rights and Human Responsibilities Kyaw Thura Man is said to be the most sapient being of all. It is through unrivalled intelligence and knowledge that the world we live in has come this far. Unfortunately, the whole of civilization is now on the decline on sheer account of the moral laxity of today’s society. The world is now noisy with calls for human rights. Our country is not an exception. It is quite understandable that human rights must be held in high esteem. When it comes to human rights, there is one important thing which cannot be left out. It is human responsibilities. Human rights and human responsibilities are inseparable. Simply put, human rights without acceptance of responsibility are just a fantasy. Only when rights and responsibilities are balanced can a better, safer world be created. It should be noted that the enforcement of laws and conventions alone is incapable of helping a better social order materialize. To translate this into reality, all cultures and societies are required to respect and recognize the equal and inalienable rights of all people, regardless of gender, age, religion, social status and ethnic origin. At a time when our country demands a greater unity and amity, now is a crucial time for all people in the country to move from indifference to involvement so that peaceful coexistence cannot lose its meaning. If we want to enjoy human rights to the full, we must accept human responsibilities on our own initiatives. Therefore it is time to talk about human responsibilities, which starts with individuals.
