Human beings are brilliant. The best of creation. Our thoughts and ideas have led to magnificent technological, as well as medicinal advancements. Such, that our predecessors would never even have dreamt of them. However, it is so important for us to remember, that none of that would EVER be possible or be beneficial to us in anyway without the will and blessings of God. A drop of rain doesnt descend from skies, nor does the heart beat even a single beat without seeking permission from the Lord of the heavens and the earth. He says, be and so it is.
