Human love does not always fill the ache in your soul. We strive to find it. We perform to hold its attention. And yet, even when we receive it, it is still not always enough. There are moments when you feel the full force of that human love, and yet it still leaves an empty place in your heart. Gods love is deep and overwhelming and complete. When I allow God to love me fully and I yield myself fully to Him, every molecule of my being is touched by Him. Even the untouchable spirit is moved and shaken. Those moments of complete abandon are rare and powerful. And in those moments, I need no other touch. He requires nothing in return and yet all I desire to do is give more. Should I not then crave His presence – His enveloping love more than any other? ~ my random thoughts for this day
