★ Human spirit; a fragment of God’s energy Have you ever pondered over why our elders and spiritual leaders have constantly reiterated that “God lives within us?” For several decades now, this faith or belief that God lives in each one of us, has been passed on from generation after generation. While some people have chosen not to attach any validity to this statement, some people believed the statement would have a placebo effect on man and help him rise from rough tides, while some others strongly believed in it without questioning its authenticity or efficacy. Now, let me enlighten you on the truth and facts behind this statement “God lives within us”. You are aware that all living beings are ‘Energy’ disguised in a physical body. This body may take any form and size however it is the energy that resides deep inside the various layers of skin, flesh and bones, that is the core. Take for example a torch light. No matter what shape or form it has, it is the light that will guide us in the dark. True human spirit is akin to the light of a torch because that spirit is a fragment of God’s energy situated in the solar network. As a spiritually inclined individual that you are, you might now be thinking that the human spirit and the soul are the same. There is a subtle difference between the two. The soul is a sublime fourth dimensional form of the human body. And the human body is the physical form given to the soul to help interact with other living beings existing in the mortal world. While the body ages with time, the soul and the spirit continue to remain young. So, if the soul is inside the human body, then where is the spirit? The spirit is situated inside the soul. This means an individual is typically made up of a three-dimensional physical body, a true spirit and a soul. Living in a world replete with self-centric culture, ego and cut-throat competition, we become obsessed with our physical form forgetting the fact that our body comes with an expiry date. We become so obsessed with our body which is a mortal structure that we fail to devote time to tap our spiritual mind and soul which are an eternal power of life. The material world will perish one day but truth, wisdom, knowledge and love will continue to live. Hence, as spiritual individuals, it is important for us to connect with the eternal power of life, through which we can disseminate truth and beauty, love and harmony, peace and tranquility to the entire universe. So dear people, look beyond the physical form, reach out to the true spirit in you and connect with the positive energies of the universe through your soul.
