Humans have the horrible tendancy to do 2 things that are so shitty. 1. We seem to need to draw lines and circles within the population/community to make ourselves feel better. I am not like them, they are (BLAH) and I am (BLAH) Weather its woman / man, gay / straight, fat / thin, poor / rich, ford / chevy, apple / iphone... its all different but its this same tendency to define some smaller circle you reside in that is superior to the other circles. It is not, and you are only more superior by abandoning circles entirely. 2. We seem to need to come up with easy to remember rules and generalizations that make the larger groups easier to understand and digest. Ie. Asians are like this... fat people are like this... women are like this... all men are like this.... poor people be like. Nope. No. None of those groups are entirely that thing. The reality is that there are 7 billion humans. And you are but 1. And every 1 has a million nuances that could never be understood by somebody who has never met you. I dont find that scary. I find that goddamn beautiful. My 2 cents.
