Humans tend to be self-interested under ANY political system, yes, - TopicsExpress

Humans tend to be self-interested under ANY political system, yes, even ones like Socialism (or whatever its adherents chooses to call itself at the time). People were just as greedy under communism in the Warsaw Pact countries as they are today in Venezuela or Cuba, Zimbabwe, The Congo, or yes, even North Korea where leaders there claim to be Socialists. (Im not saying they ARE...Ill explain as we go on) I must qualify what I have said about Venezuela or even Cuba in the past. The rub is that Socialism is The Schrodingers Cat of political ideas. https://youtube/watch?v=IOYyCHGWJq4 That is, the Cat here, Socialism, is alive, dead, or both simultaneously, in other words it, does/doesnt exist in practice, depending on which Socialist you talk to because...well, let me explain... EVERY Socialist (or Communist) govt or country in the world where either are tried, full on, and then eventually fails months or years later to engineer the ideal society described in Socialist writings, are -- in actuality, according to Socialists themselves -- FAKE. Why? Because when Socialist Govts fail to create the society they want, they do so because, according to other Socialists, It wasnt real Socialism in the first place... or... its leaders or political parties were not real or proper socialists. So, Socialism then (along with Communism), are the only political movement(s), in history, -as far as I know- where its adherents: 1. All stop being socialists upon reaching govt power, according to other socialists... OR 2. That Socialism is a kind of Im Spartacus! weird political cult, if you see what I mean. Its a constant never ending loop flowchart here: a.) Truesocialists gain civic power who are then condemned by other socialists for being IMPOSTERS, and not actually BEING real socialists or for not practising real Socialism. b.) the imposter socialists in power are in time deposed, either by the electorate themselves or by other Truesocialists not in power. c.) True socialists then gain civic power..return to point a.) Wash, rinse, repeat... It seems to me that the closer to more political power socialists get, the less socialist they become. Its like civic power or responsibility is the Kryptonite of Socialism. There is a simpler explanation - That Socialism does not or cannot work. Can an ACTUAL Socialist please tell me what on Earth is going on? You cant be an imposter socialist, mind, obviously.
