SOUMYA RAMACHANDRAN - VIOLIN. - Hailing from a musical family, she was trained in Carnatic Vocal by her mother Smt. Raji Subbaraman in the beginning and was later trained by Smt. Balamani of Mumbai. - She was trained in Carnatic violin by Sri. K. Shivakumar of Mumbai. - She is a graded artiste of AIR. - Conferred Surmani title by Sur Singar Samsad, Mumbai & best violinist award from Music Academy and Krishnagana sabha in Chennai. - She currently trains many students in both violin as well as vocal in her school Sampradaya. - She is part of Sthree taal Tarang, an all women instrumental ensemble in Bangalore. She has performed widely in India and abroad. SRI. R.S.R. SRIKANTH -MRIDANGAM. - Born in a musical family, had his initial mridangam training under Sri Natcharkoil Vi. Raghunathan and later under Maestro Umayalpuram Sivaraman. - Now under the tutelage of Kalaimamani Srimushnam Sri V. Raja Rao. - Also learnt Carnatic vocal under Dr. Muralidhar, disciple of Voleti Sri Venkateswaralu. - A grade artist of AIR. Performing in AIR and Doordarshan from 1990. - Performed in leading music Sabhas in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Madras. - Winner of Krishna Ghana Sabha award in 2003. - Founder Director of Dhwani music school in Bangalore. - Accompanied number of senior musicians and also in CDs released.
