Humbled by this Gods messenger - Gabriel Fernandes Not for name or fame but just enjoying the game!!! Early this morning on Calangute beach, about 6 enthusiasts were collecting shells which had come to the shore. I saw one local collecting some things away from us. He looked like a local and thus decided to go near him expecting to get better shells. I was surprised to find him picking up broken beer bottles (glass pieces) which many break post their drinks late night on the beach. Gabriel Fernandes, the owner of Blue Marine Resort, Calangute has been doing this from over a decade. A foreigner in his hotel had got a cut on the second day and had wasted 2 months of his time in India and had a bad experience. Gabriel decided that this would never happen to anybody and thus, every morning, he goes all through the places where the tourists sit and drink, and collects these to be discarded. I was so touched and went and thanked him a different type of service where he does not meet his beneficiaries. Truly a Gods messenger! Not for name or fame but just enjoying the game!!!
