Here you go, the recipe for ... Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. When you make movies inspired by the classics, you always run the risk of over doing it or making a complete mess of it. Debutant Director Shashank Khaitan has put just the right amount of everything from the recipe to hit an entertainer on the screen. Expect nothing as such with break-through story or never seen before twists. The film is made as an entertainer and it does deliver entertainment. Varun Dhawan is natural as an average middle class guy with not so impressive name and no such heroic abilities. Alia carries the role of a chirpy Punjabi kudi effortlessly. We have seen her grow with every role she has done. Nothing has been overdone. Ashutosh Rana is seen after a long time and this time as the leading ladys father. Siddhartha Shukla as the NRI Guy impresses. There are 2 guys to watch out for Gaurav Pandey as Shonty and specially, Sahil Vaid as Poplu. These guys, specially Poplu is hilarious. Songs are good and go with the flow of the movie, placed at the right sequences. Very Filmy and Paisa Wasool 3 Stars
