Hundreds stand in support of Jono Moylan awaiting details of his sentence Rick Laird a farmer from Boggabri near the Leard Forest stood upon the steps of the Supreme Court in Sydney this morning to speak in support of Jono Moylan. Laird was joined by 200 other supporters including farmers, indigenous elders, religious leaders and state and federal representatives. In Jan 2013 26yo Jonathan Moylan sent a fake ANZ press release saying the bank had withdrawn a $1.2 billion loan for a Maules Creek coal mine on ethical grounds. Hes charged with making a misleading statement and faces 10 yrs in prison & a $765,000 fine.
