Hunger, my people. Look at the St,Maarten Conservative Movement website. All they are complaining about is socialism and communism, instead of fighting corruption in our own country. Ideology is ultimately not the issue, but a countrys resources. What they envy about communism and socialism is that those system have the ability to exploit its human resources, while we in Sint Maarten have not been able to provide jobs for a population of less than 60000 inhabitants. If we allowed to be led into such blind alleys, then they going to tell you that as long as we have money in our pocket,- be it communism, socialism, or capitalism, we will sing for any master. That will be an insult to the integrity of our people. Up to now I dont see how any of those ideology affects the social-ills in our country, but they are constantly brought to surface to distract us from fundamental issues. Ideologies are the protection of the church. If we had no political ideology, the church will be next on the hit-list of the colonialists. Beware of who keep rubbing it in.
