Hungry Minds children were invited by the EDSA People Power - TopicsExpress

Hungry Minds children were invited by the EDSA People Power Commission (EPPC) to participate in the launching of its 2nd book, Isang Harding Papel, a poignant story of a mother and her child separated from each other during the Martial Law years in the Philippines. This mother, imprisoned for being involved in government protests, gave her daughter a flower made of paper each time she was visited. Hungry Minds children enjoyed the storytelling session and learned lessons about this point in Philippine history that, hopefully, they will not forget. Thank you to the EPPC for inviting our kids. It was a rich learning experience for the group! Isang Harding Papel Written by: Augie Rivera Illustrated by: Rommel Joson Video Credit: PTV 4 Amie P.
