Hunter update---For those of you who did not hear, we came back to the hospital last night due to a spot on his left palm that initially looked like a mosquito bite. Within 24 hours, the spot approximately tripled in size and there were blister-like spots under the skin and there was a dark red ring around it, it was extremely sore to the touch and he was running a fever of 102. By 10:00pm last night, there was a red streak to his elbow and by 2:00am (after antibiotics) the streak was up to his armpit. He was then admitted. He has been put on 4 different antibiotics. They are unsure what they are dealing with. The sore appears viral and the streak indicates bacterial. Needless to say, we will be in the hospital for at least 2-3 more days. The nurses here were very surprised to see him again :( Lets hope and pray that they can figure this out and he can go home and never return!! Thanks for all of your prayers!!
