Hunters still a chance ---------------------------------------> SP PNG Hunters still have two chances to get into the Intrust Super Cup finals. With a bye this weekend, the lads will sit back and hope for results to go their way which could see them still make the finals. Technically, the Hunters are already on 33 points with bye points against their name. They now will bank on the outcome of two of the games in the last round of the Intrust Super Cup. The Hunters will only make the finals if 5th placed Ipswich Jets (32 points) lose to the Redcliffe Dolphins who sit 11th on the table. This game will be played at 2:30pm this Saturday. If the Jets win their game, the Hunters will look to Sunday’s game between the Mackay Cutters, in seventh placing who play the fourth-placed Tweed Heads Seagulls (33 points).
