Hurairah relates that the Rasulullah said many are the ones whos fast ,attaining noting by such fasting expect but hunger ,and many are the ones performing , salaah by night attaining noting by it ? Expect the disconfort of staying awake at night, The ulama refire to those who fast during d day and they brake fast with haraam food,, and those keeping themselve busy with backbiting nd slandering others ,,4 salaah all night but because of backbiting or other sinful act (eg allowing Fajr salaah to pass by )his noble act goes unrewarded.
