Hurricane Bertha UPDATE 4: Although I have no new pictures or videos of the ensuing Hurricane I thought Id share my response from a well known broadcaster to my last email. Dear Mr Alston, I feel after your continued contributions in response to our request for first hand reports on the hurricane it is only fair to email you back. As a network we have received many hundreds of messages from people affected by todays extreme weather, although I understand that not being able to go to the pub without getting wet and if I leave the building who will be there to monitor the bush outside may be legitimate concerns to yourself they would probably not interest our readership nor our viewing audience. With that in mind I must inform you that not only will your live video footage not be streamed throughout the night without any advertising break but it will also not be part of our 6am news report. We all hope that you continue to stay safe and I wish you well with your attempt to contact the United Nations to organise a humanitarian food drop. On behalf of the whole news team I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your input today.
