Hurricane Sandy Lost and Found Pets NO APPLICATIONS on Dog, Cat, and Kid FRIENDLY Carmella who is LIVING on the CEMENT, OUTSIDE and it is GETTING COLD and she is 8!! SHARE for a HOME!! AND PLEASE follow thru if you say you want her -- OR dont say it because people stop sharing! ================================== ★ QUEENS, NY: 8 yo CARMELLA is a VERY FRIENDLY, DOG, CAT and likely KID FRIENDLY rottie who was found roaming in a JUNK YARD. A man in the area is looking after her but she is NOT PERMITTED by city of NY to be on his property (any dog) so Carmella NEEDS a HOME and FAST! (TRANSPORT available around the Northeast for approved home!) ★★ ================================= QUEENS, NY: Carmella is an 8 year old female spayed rottweiler with a great temperament who is up to date with shots. She gets along with other dogs and doesnt mind cats. She was found roaming in the junk yard. A man took her into his own yard and provided her with food, shelter and love. Unfortunately, the yard is in Queens and is owned by the City of New York now and they are kicking everyone out. He would love to take her to his new yard, but the new landlord doesnt want any dogs in-case of any liability issues. Carmella is a senior and we hope to give her a wonderful final chapter to her life! Pibbles and More Rescue learned of her and are trying to find placement. They took her to the vet. According to the vet ... she played with little dogs and did great, regarding cats she sniffed and was curious of them and ignored them. The man who is looking after her until we can find a place says there is usually a family of cats that roams the junk yards and she pays no mind to them. ★ She loved the grass!!! She is so use to concrete or dirt outside that when she saw grass it was like she was experiencing a totally new and awesome thing. ★ Who WILL give her the home she DESERVES -- she is reportedly SWEET AS CAN BE! Lets do this for her ... whos with me? CONTACT: pmarinc.org for an application to foster or adopt
