Hurriyat (M) to hold seminar on Nov 6 Srinagar, Nov 4: Hurriyat Conference (M) is organizing a seminar titled “Jammu Martyrs----torch bearers of freedom struggle” on November 6, Wednesday, at its headquarters here to pay tributes to the thousands of Muslims who were massacred on November 6, 1947, in Jammu region. “The seminar will be addressed by the amalgam chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.” said a Hurriyat (M) spokesman in a statement. “On November 6, 1947, thousands of innocents were massacred by the communal elements and other oppressors in Jammu region. Since then, the people of JK have been giving immense sacrifices for the realization of their rights. The martyrs are the priceless assets of our struggle and Hurriyat is committed to take the struggle to its logical end,” he added.
