Husbands: No two women can share the same kitchen & the same space for a long time without conflict. For this reason a man shall leave his father & his mother, & be joined to his wife; & they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24. Leaving parents is not optional; it is a command from God. Every woman desires to have her own independent territory, home or place she can call her own. As far as is possible, leave & establish your own separate home with your wife. Regardless of how close you are to your parents & family do not disregard Gods command to leave. Gods ideal plan is for families to visit each other. But in temporary circumstances where family members have to stay with you; dont let them challenge your wifes decisions & authority in her own home. Obey God, honor your wife & protect your marriage.
