Hussain Sagar...Nimajjanam ! Seen in which ever way, it is just ravaging the Lake. We talk of clay idols, environment protection, Lake restoration walks...all gone for a toss on One Day. The idea behind Bhakti and its propagation was never intended to destroy the nature. Its a crime to destroy any living being The Nature is also a living being, how it can be ravaged? I dont prescribe to romanticizing the environment but at the same time polluting the Lake waters with Lead, Titanium Dioxide, Chrome Green Oxide, Yellow& Red Iron Oxides, Calcite, Talc Magnesium Silicate, Mica, Barium Sulphate etc - YES...these are what Paints comprise off..!! We are dumping them into the Lake and these will get again mixed into our ground and drinking waters? I can for sure say, the Gods up above Us will not feel an iota if the idols are not immersed because the waters are getting polluted!!... But, what to do..no one listens....People are interested in their own Bhakti and their own well being through that Bhakti...
