Hx Karate Cup club championships. Summary. I would like to say a massive thank you to all students that entered and parents from Halifax sport karate and kings karate club that supported this years club championships it was a fantastic day with over 100 competitors it was a great club day with great atmosphere and good sporting attitude from both students and parents I was very shocked at the level this year many student have improved massively in both areas kata and Kumite some cracking matches will be talked about for years. It was also very nice to see some old bushido Ryu faces supporting the new generation of students founder of Bushido Ryu sensei Mick Davis sensei terry Keast Steve vickerman and sensei carol warnye also thank you to all the refs and table officials that gave up there time to make this happen you know who you are all the kitchen staff for putting the food on all day also the ones that helped on the tuckshop and Im famous photographers for doing the photos for the day lastly Id like to say thank you to everyone who donated to the raffle which was to help the student going to Luxembourg in January we raised a massive 232.99 also lastly thank you founder of Bushido Ryu sensei mick Davis for donating around £70.00 to the club funds very kind of you. Another year down looking forward to next years 2015 Club championships. Photos will follow
