Hyperactive posting lately. This is like my second post in two days! A new lap record! Anyway: Weve been doing a lot of paperwork in my studies the last 6 months, so sometimes its just nice to relax and disconnect with a bit of replica work. Ive been playing around with modeling Jango Fetts Westar 34 blasters tonight, and figured I could share them to keep some activity on this page. These were started as a relaxation-piece, but they turned out quite nice. As close to accurate as I could get, without going completely nuts. Based on as accurate dimensions I could get from my photo references. I always model all my pieces, even if they wont be 3D-printed, since CAD-models give really precise and detailed blueprints. This makes practice-work like these pieces very valuable, both for the learning, and when I sometimes later decide to actually create the pieces in real life.
