Híŋhaŋni wašte lo. (Good morning!) Léčhiye, tȟaŋkál kitáŋla wahíŋhe na líla osní yelo. (Over here, it is snowing a little and really cold.) Kȟal’íyutȟapi kiŋ wikčémna núŋpa yelo. (It is twenty degrees.) Takómni mahéna maŋké lo. (I better stay inside.) Eháŋni, wakȟálwaye lo. (Earlier, I made coffee.) Waŋná, wakȟálapi kȟáta etáŋ wablátkaŋ na awáštewalake lo. (Now, I am drinking and enjoying some hot coffee.) 1. Héčhiya, aŋpétuu tókča hwo? (Whats it like over there?) 2. Na, táku tókȟanuŋ kta hwo? (And, whats on your agenda for today.) 1. Kȟal’íyutȟapi (temperature) 2. Takómni (certainly, for sure) 3. Mahéna (staying inside) 4. Yaŋká (to remain somewhere,he/she sits) Maŋké (I sit) 5. Tókȟuŋ (to do unspecified activity, he/she does) Tókȟanuŋ (you do) 6. Ečhúŋ (to do specified activity, he/she does) Ečhámuŋ (I do) In the second question, tókȟanuŋ refers to an unspecified activity, I dont know what your doing, hence my question. When answering the question, you would use ečhámuŋ. because you will be telling me what you are actually going to do. I hope this does not confuse you. You will find weather terms in a file at the top of the page.
