I-1325 petitions are good to go. This is the 2/3s vote to raise taxes constitutional amendment initiative. IT IS BRILLIANT! If the legislators do NOT allow us, the self-governing citizens, to vote for a Washington State constitutional amendment requiring the legislature to have a 2/3s majority to increase our taxes, this initiative requires a 1% decrease in sales tax, thereby offsetting the ever increasing tax burden they continue to place on us. That decrease would be about $1,000,000,000 per year. We only have 5 weeks to gather 246,000 valid signatures, so we need to GET ON THIS.
