I ACCEPTED AN INVITATION - - AND IT MAKE ME THINK. A friend of mine invited me to see this movie at the Midtown Theater in Harrisburg. I said, Why would I go see that? To spend time with my firend, I went . . . . and I learned something. This post is not aimed to defend someone or convict someone. It is a post for us to consider what we have done and what we are doing and what we will do. Is it possible that we, the PEOPLE, helped to build a golden calf? It was knocked down, and the people want are rebuilding it. What are we doing? Really, what are we doing? The coach is not the golden calf. The coach was a man . . . just a man . . . a man. The golden calf could be the thing worshipped by the people with an intensity not found for our worship for God. It is the Christmas Season - we celebrate the Christ who came to set man free.
